Russia, Tajikistan agree on supplies of oil products, labor activity

MOSCOW, March 08, 15:38 /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Tajikistan agreed on Saturday on supplies of oil products to Tajikistan and on a deal to streamline the terms of the two countries’ nationals’ stay and labor activity on each other’s territories, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with his Tajik counterpart Sirodzhiddin Aslov.

Lavrov said the agreements would enter into force soon. He also noted that “bilateral trade has grown despite unfavorable tendencies in the global economy.”

He said Russia’s investment in the Central Asian country exceeded $1.2 billion.
