Russia acts in Sevastopol in line with Black Sea fleet deployment agreement — Lavrov

MOSCOW, March 4. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia acts in line with the agreement on deployment of the Black Sea Fleet in the Crimean city of Sevastopol and is guided by addresses of legitimate authorities, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said here on Tuesday.

“As for Russian servicemen, who are stationed at a naval base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, they are guided strictly and always by the agreements under which the Russian fleet is deployed on this territory and are guided by addresses of Ukrainian legitimate authorities. In this case, these are addresses of still legitimate authorities of the republic of Crimea,” the minister said.
