MOSCOW, March 04. /ITAR-TASS/. Mass rallies are planned in five Russian cities - Volgograd, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Irkutsk and Kostroma to express support for the brotherly people of Ukraine.
The action will start at Rostov's Theatre Square at 16:00 local time (GMT+4) and "in a relay" will begin in the other cities.
Irkutsk and Crimea's Simferopol are sister cities.
The rallies will be held under the slogans "We are for Peace in the Brotherly Country" and "We Do Not Abandon Ours".
On Monday, mass meetings were held in Bryansk, Belgorod and Novocherkassk. On Sunday, many thousands of people gathered for marches and rallies in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Krasnodar, organized by patriotic youth and veteran organizations.
