Russia’s Finance Ministry eyeing assistance to Crimea

GORKI, March 03. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Finance Ministry said on Monday it would draft proposals for disbursement of financial assistance to Crimea till the end of the day.

“We are studying the issues of financial cooperation and financial assistance to Crimea to ensure stability of its financial system, timely payment of wages, allowances and pensions and steady work of budget-funded institutions of the autonomous republic,” Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. “The consultations are underway and till the end of the day we will draft concrete proposals concerning financial support.”
