MOSCOW, February 28 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks on Friday with British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of the European Council Herman van Rompuy, the Kremlin’s press service said.
The politicians discussed in detail the latest event in Ukraine’s crisis underscoring the utter importance of actions to stop further escalation of violence and to facilitate a return of the situation back to normal at an earliest possible date.
They came to an agreement to keep in touch and to enhance the collaboration of their foreign ministries on the Ukrainian problem.
