MOSCOW, February 28. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia urges all parties to show restraint and prevent the escalation of tension on the Korean Peninsula, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Mogulov told Itar-Tass.
Commenting on North Korea’s launch of four small-range missiles, the Russian diplomat said, “The large-scale American-South Korean exercises are held in the region. We urge all parties to show restraint due to the fact that the situation on the Korean Peninsula is not easy.”
“Our position is that those who are related to the problem do their best to prevent the escalation of violence on the peninsula,” he added.
