MOSCOW, February 19. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia intends to supply additional Mi-17 helicopters to Afghanistan, presidential special envoy for Afghanistan, director of the Foreign Ministry 2nd Asia Department Zamir Kabulov told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
In co-operation with US partners “we signed several deals. Over the past two years we’ve supplied 33 Mi-17 helicopters to Afghanistan”, the Russian diplomat said.
“We’re ready to supply additional helicopters. An agreement to sign a corresponding deal has been reached,” he added.
