YEKATERINBURG, February 18. /ITAR-TASS/. The air hostess of Russia's Ural Airlines injured in an incident at the Dubai airport has had new surgery, the company's press service said.
"Our company's employee Marina Zhelyamova is having new surgery. Before surgery, doctors said she was in stable moderate severity condition," the press service told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. "We cannot disclose what injuries she sustained."
The incident at the Dubai airport occurred last Monday. A catering service car carrying foodstuffs rammed the tail of Ural Airlines plane as it was being readied for the flight en route Dubai-Perm.
The air hostess who was by an exterior door of the plane at the moment of the collision fell to the ground. She was taken to a Dubai hospital with limb fractures and brain concussion, Russian diplomats said on Tuesday.
Local transport prosecutors opened criminal proceedings over the incident. The culprit has been detained. An investigation is underway.
