TVER, February 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Investigators have charged the suspended Public Health Minister of Russia's Tver region with exceeding authority, and a court has sanctioned her house arrest, a spokeswoman said.
Yelena Zhidkova was charged with misuse of 20 million rubles. The money was transferred to an account of the commercial organization during the implementation of two state contracts in November 2012 and February 2013, spokeswoman for the regional department of the Investigative Committee Valeria Pavlova told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
Zhidkova was suspended on January 9 by ruling of the central district court in connection with the probe.
