Russian, Estonian foreign ministers sign deals on state border

MOSCOW, February 18. /ITAR-TASS/. Foreign Ministers of Russia and Estonia, Sergei Lavrov and Urmas Paet, have signed agreements on the state border and the delimitation of maritime areas.

“We’ve signed an agreement on the Russian-Estonian state border and a document on the delimitation of maritime areas in the Narva Bay and the Gulf of Finland,” Lavrov said after a meeting with the Estonian counterpart on Tuesday.

In addition, the foreign ministers of both countries concluded “an agreement on diplomat immovable property and a plan on consultations in 2014-2015”, the Russian minister said.

“The documents, which have been signed, are an important step towards developing bilateral relations. They will facilitate the positive atmosphere in our relations,” Lavrov said.
