NOVO OGARYOVO, February 13. /ITAR-TASS/. President Vladimir Putin has wished Egyptian First Vice-Premier, Minister of Defense and Military Industry Abdel Fattah al-Sisi the success at the upcoming presidential elections.
“I know that you decided to run for presidency,” Putin said at the meeting with the Egyptian minister on Thursday.
“This is a very responsible decision - to assume such responsibility for the fate of the Egyptian people,” he said.
“I wish you the success on my behalf and on behalf of the Russian people,” Putin told the Egyptian minister.
Stability in the Middle East and North Africa will also depend on Egypt, the Russian president said, adding “I think that you’ll succeed in mobilising your supporters and improve interaction with the Egyptian society.
