MOSCOW, February 04, 22:49 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul discussed facilitation of the participation of the U.S. official delegation in the opening ceremony of the Sochi Olympic Games, the Russian foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
“The two diplomats discussed issues of the facilitation of the participation of the U.S. official delegation in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi, the schedule of contacts at various levels, problems of Syria’s chemical disarmament, and a number of aspects of Russia’s presidency in the Group of Eight,” the ministry said, adding that a number of current issues of the bilateral agenda had been also in focus.
