Pushkov: Nobody invites Ukraine to EU, nobody will

MOSCOW, February 02, (ITAR-TASS). Head of the State Duma’s international committee Alexei Pushkov is sure the European Union presses Ukraine for the association with aggressive persistency of colonists.

“In the past, the forced for similar agreements China and other dependent countries,” he wrote in Twitter.

The protesters in Maidan /Kiev’s Independence Square/ “do not differ between the association and joining the EU, which is wrongfully.” “Nobody is inviting Ukraine to the EU, and nobody will. Entire Europe is against,” he added.

Earlier on the day, Pushkov wrote - the relations between Russia and the European Union are at deadlock, which is seen clearly from the Russia-EU summit in Brussels on January 28. “To overcome the deadlock, the EU management and its approaches need to be refreshed,” he said.
