BANGKOK, January 31. /ITAR-TASS/. Two Russian tourists, who were in distress in Phang Nga Bay in Andaman Sea in Thailand, Southeast Asia, were picked up by a fishing schooner. Russian citizens were not hurt, tourist police on Phuket Island said on Friday.
Police reported that two tourists went on a sea trip by rented two-seat rowboat. Sailing too far from the coast, the rowboat started leaking. Passing Russian citizens in trouble, local fishermen took them onboard their vessel and brought them to neighboring island Phuket.
Police are inquiring in the accident.
