Putin nominates 40 candidates for a new Public Chamber

At least half of the nominees represent professional and creative unions

MOSCOW, January 30, 23:57 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered forty Russians who have merits to the state and society to become members of the Russian Public Chamber, the Kremlin website reports.

At least half of the nominees represent professional and creative unions, associations of employers and professional associations as well as non-profit organizations created for the presentation and protection of the interests of professional and social groups, the Kremlin website says.
