MOSCOW, January 30, (ITAR-TASS). Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with representatives of the Kamaz-Master team who won the 2014 Dakar Rally in the truck category, the Kremlin reported.
The Dakar victory was the Kamaz-Master team’s twelfth. Andrei Karginov’s crew took first place in the competition whose last race was held nearly two weeks ago, and Eduard Nikolayev’s crew came third.
The 2014 Dakar Rally kicked off in the city of Rosario in central Argentina on January 5 and ended in Valparaнso in Chile on January 18.
