MOSCOW, January 29. /ITAR-TASS/. Relations between the Defense Ministry and several industrial enterprises require serious changes, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Wednesday.
“We find common language with some companies quickly and take immediate decisions. However, there are companies, which continue bargaining. This is not trading, but this is really bargaining,” Shoigu said at a joint session of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the Defense Ministry and the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Wednesday.
The ministry did everything possible to sign overall cycle contracts within the state defense order, the minister said. “I’d like to tell everyone: I mean the state defense order. I mean the country’s defense capacity and rearming. The country collected 20 trillion for the needs of the new army,” he said.
In 2012 there were many talks about difficulties over military acceptance. “We started resuming the process and restored over 14,000 positions on key trends of our activity in 2013,” the minister said.
At present, the ministry will give over 99 enterprises, which deal with equipment repairs, to the industry and will specialize in running service, Shoigu said.
