KIEV, January 26, /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s embassy in Kiev has refuted Ukrainian media reports about alleged arrival of Russian riot police in Kiev.
“In connection with allegations circulated by some Ukrainian mass media about the arrival of Russian riot police in Kiev, the press service of the Russian embassy stresses that such reports have nothing to do with reality and is provocative,” the Russian embassy said in a statement on Sunday. “We hope that in the current socio-political situation in Ukraine the mass media would be more careful and show restraint in circulating such information. We call on the initiators of such stove-piping activities to show maximum responsibility.
