KEMEROVO, January 26, 10:59 /ITAR-TASS/. Evacuation of miners is over from seven coalmines in Russian Urals’ Kemerovo region, where main ventilation systems went out of order due to broken high voltage line on Sunday, the regional emergency situation department told Itar-Tass.

“All miners are brought to the surface. No miners were hurt in the incident. Miners maintaining the operation of shafts stayed at the coalmines,” the emergencies department said.

The November 7 coalmine, coalmines Kostromskaya, Alekseyevskaya, Zarechnaya, Komsomolets, Kirov and Baikaimskaya in Urals’ Kemerovo region were cut from power supplies. A total of 1,115 miners were staying in the shafts at the moment of the incident.
