Lavrov did not discuss defence contracts between Moscow and Damascus

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, January 25, /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov during the meetings with the Syrian opposition did not discuss Russian-Syrian defence contracts.

"We did not touch on the topics," the minister said in an interview on Russian television in the Saturday New broadcast.

"The main thing for us is that the negotiating process must start. There was no need to go into details of Russian-Syrian relationship," he added.
