Platon Lebedev released from jail is in Moscow

The lawyer said he did not know whether the ex-head of MENATEP would remain in Russia or leave the country

MOSCOW, January 25, 10:13 /ITAR-TASS/. Former MENATEP company head Platon Lebedev, who was released from the Velsk prison in the Arkhangelsk Region on 24 on 24 january, is in Moscow.

Currently Lebedev is in Moscow with his family, his attorney Vladimir Krasnov told ITAR-TASS.

The lawyer said he did not know whether the ex-head of MENATEP would remain in Russia or leave the country. He did not rule that Lebedev would give a press conference.

The Russian Supreme Court on January 23 reduced Lebedev's sentence to ten years, six months and 22 days, that is to the period he had served.
