MOSCOW, January 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Defense Ministry has provided about 10 billion rubles to conduct routine repairs of military facilities in 2014, Deputy Defense Minister Dmitry Bulgakov said on Friday.
“We’re planning to conduct routine repairs of 3,500 facilities of the Armed Forces’ barracks and quarters,” Bulgakov said.
A plan on repairs has been prepared and approved in compliance with applications from military districts’ command, the deputy minister said.
“As of today Slavyanka JSC has formed repair brigades and conducted procedures for choosing subcontracting organizations in order to carry out operations,” he said.
Commissions are working to control the works’ quality on the facilities, Bulgakov added.
