Businessman gunned down in Moscow region

MOSCOW, January 22. /ITAR-TASS/. A Moscow businessman has been shot and killed in the town of Korolyov, Moscow region, a spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

The man was returning to Moscow from the village of Zagoryanka, Shchyolkovsky district. He was in a passenger seat when his car stopped before a zebra crossing in Korolyov at around 14:00, Moscow time," spokeswoman for the regional department of the investigative Committee Olga Vradiy told Itar-Tass. "An unidentified gunmen fired shots at the businessman killing him on the spot. The driver was not injured."

Investigators found 27 bullet holes in the car.

Forensic experts are working at the scene.

According to preliminary information, the man engaged in real estate business.
