It is not ruled out that Larvov and Kerry will have consultations with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
Lavrov’s motorcade arrived at the Montreux Palace hotel, which hosts delegations to the Geneva-2 international peace conference on Syria due to open on Wednesday.
The Russian foreign minister also plans to meet with his Syrian and Egyptian counterparts, Walid al-Mualem and Nabil Fahmy. It is worth noting that journalists are not let to access the venue of the talks. They are staying at a press centre in the vicinity of the Montreux Palace hotel.
