MOSCOW, January 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Moscow's Lefortovo court has sanctioned a two-month arrest of Dagestan’s Deputy Prime Minister Magomedgusen Nasrutdinov, suspected of involvement in a 130-million-rouble fraud in the sale of the republic's gas transportation networks.
The court met the investigator's petition saying that the suspicions regarding Nasrutdinov's intention to escape or put pressure on witnesses were justified.
It turned down the petition by the suspect's lawyer requesting bail or house arrest.
