MOSCOW, January 21. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has sent the potatoes, presented to him by US Secretary of State John Kerry, to farmers in the Kuban region in the south of Russia for experimental cultivation, Lavrov told a news conference devoted to the results of the activities of Russian diplomats in 2013.
"As for potatoes...Frankly speaking I have agreed to fulfill a request made by one of our farmers and sent the potatoes to the Kuban region where the farmers will experiment with them," Lavrov said.
