GENEVA, January 20, 19:47 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian, American and U.N. diplomats will meet in Switzerland on January 21 to prepare the international conference on Syria to be held in Montreux and Geneva this week, an informed diplomatic source said.
“The meeting has been agreed to and confirmed,” the source said on Monday, January 20.
He noted that the consultations would be held in connection with the invitation to Iran to attend the conference known as Geneva II and the refusal of some of the Syrian opposition groups to take part in the forum.
