MOSCOW, January 20. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s State Duma will discuss closely returning the ‘winter time’, Speaker Sergei Naryshkin said commenting on a bill presented to the lower house.
“The topic of ‘winter time’ may be discussed. The majority of our people support the use of ‘winter time’. We shall have very close discussions,” Naryshkin said.
On Monday, head of the State Duma’s committee on healthcare Sergei Kalashnikov presented to the State Duma a bill on returning in Russia the ‘winter time’, which suggests also bringing the country’s all regions closer to their astronomic time. Besides, the law suggests banning seasonal time changes.
