MOSCOW, January 16, /ITAR-TASS/. Ivan Demidov has been appointed director-general of the miniature model park Russia.

The park will occupy an area of 1,000 hectares in the southern part of the Moscow region not from the city of Domodedovo.

The overall amount of investment in the project is estimated at about eight billion U.S. dollars.

The park will feature several thematic sections, including miniatures of Russia’s ten most known historical and cultural sites.
