BRUSSELS, January 14, 23:21 /ITAR-TASS/. The next Russia-EU summit scheduled for late January will be more dynamic and will be held in a more narrow format than usual, Kirill Ivanov, the press secretary of Russia’s Permanent Mission to the European Union, told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
According to him, the initiative to make the 32nd Russia-EU summit more dynamic and hold it in a more narrow format has come from the European Union. “The Russian side agreed to this condition in view of the fact that the summit will take place in the EU territory,” Ivanov explained.
“Nevertheless, all the key issues of relations between Russia and the European Union as well as urgent international problems will be considered at the level of Russian and EU leadership,” the Russian diplomat said.
