NOVO OGARYOVO, January 14. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and Hungary will sign documents, which will be a new serious step towards developing relations between the countries, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at talks with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday.

Russian-Hungarian contacts “are business-like and regular. They develop in all directions - in the economy, between the parliaments and in politics”, Putin said.

Orban said, “Russia is a very important partner for Hungary. Economic cooperation is of strategic nature.”

“Russia is Hungary’s priority economic partner outside the European Union. We value the progress, which was achieved under your leadership,” the Hungarian premier said.
