MOSCOW, January 12, /ITAR-TASS/. Four armed men plundered a jewelry store in a Moscow western suburb, a spokesman for the Moscow police told Itar-Tass.
“An armed robbery was committed at a jewelry store at the address 11, Vernadsky Avenue. Threatening to use a handgun, the robbers took jewelry item from the showcase and fled,” the spokesman said.
An investigation is underway.
On Saturday, a similar incident was reported from a jewelry store in Mozgaiskoye Shosse highway, also in the west of Moscow. “A masked man came into the shop, wounded a guard officer from a handgun, took jewelry from the showcase and fled in a car parked outside the shop,” a police spokesman said.
