MOSCOW, January 10, 21:23 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov met on Friday with U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs Wendy Sherman to discuss the implementation of the action plan on the Iranian nuclear program, the Russian foreign ministry reported.
“The two diplomats discussed pressing international issues, including the implementation of the Joint Action Plan on the Iranian nuclear program, Russia’s Presidency in the Group of Eight in 2014, and a number of bilateral issues,” the ministry said.
Sherman, who is currently on a working visit to Moscow, earlier met with Russian Deputy Foreign Ministers Mikhail Bogdanov and Gennady Gatilov to discuss preparations for the international peace conference on Syria, Geneva-2.
