MOSCOW, January 04, /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian government has approved the plan of key events to prepare for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
According to the document placed on the cabinet's website, the plan comprises four sections: the main all-Russia and international events, memorialization of Great Patriotic War sites, information and publishing projects and socially significant and commemorative events.
"The plan will be implemented throughout the runup to the celebration, which allows for holding a large range of educational, cultural, artistic and information events and well as renovation projects," the government said.
Earlier, the draft of the plan was approved at a session of Russia's organizing committee "Victory.
