Putin appoints new Russian ambassadors to Sudan and Oman

The president relieved Sergei Peskov of the duties as Russia’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Oman and appointed Envarbik Fazelyanov

MOSCOW, December 30. /ITAR-TASS/. President Vladimir Putin has appointed new Russian ambassadors to Sudan and the Sultanate of Oman.

Corresponding decrees have been made public at the legal information portal.

The president relieved Sergei Peskov of the duties as Russia’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Oman and appointed Envarbik Fazelyanov, who was earlier Russian ambassador to Sudan.

Mirgayas Shirinsky has been appointed Russian ambassador to Sudan.
