37 people wounded in Volgograd bomb attack still in hospital

MOSCOW, December 29,/ITAR-TASS/. As many as 37 people, including two children, who were hurt in a bomb attack at Volgograd’s central railway station on Sunday are still in hospital, a source in the local medical services told Itar-Tass.

“One man has been discharged from hospital, 37 people, including two children of nine and 14 years of age, are still in hospital,” the source said.

A female suicide bomber set off an explosive device at Volgograd’s central railway station at 12:45 Moscow time on Sunday. According to the latest reports, as many as 16 people were killed in the blast, 43 sought medical assistance.
