At least five people wounded in Volgograd bomb attack to be taken for treatment to Moscow

VOLGOGRAD, December 29, /ITAR-TASS/. At least five people who were wounded in a bomb attack in Russia’s southern city of Volgograd on Sunday will be taken for further treatment to Moscow, a source in the regional medical services told Itar-Tass.

“At least five patients will be evacuated to Moscow. Their condition is seen as grave,” the source said.

A female suicide bomber set off an explosive device at Volgograd’s central railway station at 12:45 Moscow time on Sunday. According to the latest reports, as many as 16 people were killed in the blast, 38 people were taken to hospital, five received out-patient medical assistance.
