Russian government takes decision to submit draft law on visa free trips with China

MOSCOW, December 28, 21:58 /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian government has taken a decision to submit to the State Duma, lower house of parliament, a draft law to ratify the Russian-Chinese agreement on visa free travel for holders of business passports for 30 days, the government said in a report placed on the website.

The agreement “is aimed at creating more favourable conditions for developing and strengthening contacts between citizens of both countries, primarily businessmen, scientists, athletes and figures of culture”, the report says.

The new agreement replaces the basic Russian-Chinese Agreement on Mutual Trips of the year 2000 and other agreements on mutual trips.
