MOSCOW, December 27. /ITAR-TASS/. Next year airborne troops will take part in two large-scale exercises in the Arctic region and the Far East, airborne troops’ commander, Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov said on Friday.
“We have big plans for next year: we intend to take part in the exercises in the Arctic region and strategic maneuvers in the Far East,” the commander said.
“Airborne troops ended the year at a high level. We realise the responsibility that our troops take,” Shamanov said.
