MOSCOW, December 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia and China seek to develop comprehensive cooperation, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.

“The dynamical development of Russian-Chinese relations in all fields allowed both countries to reach the level of trusting strategic partnership. The countries intensified a fruitful political dialogue on key global issues,” the report says.

In the expiring year the presidents of both countries met in March, June and September. Visits and talks at any levels were held in 2013. “Naval and counter-terrorism exercises were held in July and August respectively,” the ministry said.

“China remained one of Russia’s key foreign trade partners,” the report says, adding “The countries successfully realized a program for cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
