Far East Development Ministry subdivision to promote enhanced contacts with APR

GORKY, December 26. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia's government has decided to establish a Vladivostok-based subdivision of the Ministry for the Development of the Far East (MDFE), MDFE Head Alexander Galushka said here on Thursday at the close of a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

He explained that structural subdivisions of the MDFE had alread been set up in Moscow and Khabarovsk, and would now appear in Vladivostok as well, due to which an enhanced attention is expected to be devoted to a close and effective cooperation with the Asia-Pacific Region and business development with foreign investors.
