MOSCOW, December 24, 21:25 /ITAR-TASS/. A treaty on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union will be ready for signing by May 1, 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday at an extended meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

“The text must be ready for signing by May 1, 2014,” he stressed, adding that afterwards the document would be submitted to the national parliaments for ratification so that it could come in force from January 1, 2015.
