Government allocates subsidies for high-tech parks creation in 2013-2014

MOSCOW, December 24. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has approved the allocation in 2013-2014 of more than two billion rubles in subsidies for the creation of high-technology industrial parks.

The Russian government official website reports that the total volume of the subsidies is 1.037 billion rubles in 2013 and 1.048 billion rubles in 2014.

Eight regions submitted applications for competitive selection. As a result, four subjects of the Russian Federation will receive subsidies this year and next year: Moscow - for the high-technology industrial park in the Severny settlement, the Sverdlovsk region - for the Universitetsky technology park Yekaterinburg, Mordovia — for the technology park in Saransk and the Penza region — for the technology park in the regional center.
