PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, December 23. /ITAR-TASS/. The fleet near Kamchatka's coast in the Bering Sea is warned about a storm with eight-ten-meter-high waves, the Emergencies Ministry's Kamchatka regional department said on Monday.

The storm will come early on Tuesday, December 24, and rage all the day. Shipping companies are warned to ensure safety for crews. The Emergencies Ministry's forces in the region are on alert.

Bad weather conditions — a snow storm with winds of up to 17 m/sec — also will hit the Ust-Kamchatsky district in the east of the region. Residents are recommended not to leave settlements and not to go outdoors.
