MOSCOW, December 14, 10:34 /ITAR-TASS/. The Russian government has increased financing of the complex programme on security on transport by another 830.2 million roubles (about 25 million dollars) - to 47.6 billion roubles (about 1.4 billion dollars), the government reports on its website.
The money saved over competitions for major projects in the programme will be redirected. For example, 371.1 million roubles (11.2 million dollars) will be used for security at Belomorkanal (the White Sea - Baltic Sea Canal) and at railway transport.
Another 352.8 million roubles (about 10.7 million dollars) will be used for security of passengers on ground, railway and air kinds of transport.
