Two policemen wounded, robber killed in central Moscow

MOSCOW, December 13, 0:30 /ITAR-TASS/. Two policemen were wounded in an exchange of fire with armed robbers attempting to rob an apartment in central Moscow late on Thursday, the press service of Moscow police told Tass.

One of the robbers was killed and three were detained in their attempt to rob an apartment at 25, Komsomolsky Prospect in central Moscow at about 11 pm. Neighbors alarmed by suspicious noise called the police, but the arriving policemen came under fire. One of the attackers was killed and three were detained, two of them were wounded. An investigation brigade works at the scene.
