Rescuers look for survivors on site of administrative building in north of Moscow

MOSCOW, December 11. /ITAR-TASS/. More than ten teams of rescuers and firemen have been looking for survivors in the administrative building in the north of Moscow after its roof collapsed on Wednesday morning. The building belongs to the Russian Industrial Bank.

Part of the roof of the four-storeyed building in 4th Likhachevsky side street collapsed at around 10.30 am local time. Fire brigades and rescuers arrived on the scene. Several fire escape ladders and construction cranes have been used by the rescuers.

Police have cordoned off the destroyed building.

The office administration has been checking a list of its workers who might have been inside when the roof collapsed.
