MOSCOW, December 09, 23:57 /ITAR-TASS/. Russian State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin suggests considering a set of criteria and indices of efficiency for each state program.
While addressing Monday’s meeting of the Federal Assembly’s (parliament) two houses ahead of the 20th anniversary of the Russian Constitution, Naryshkin reaffirmed that the parliament was returning its original powers in forming the budget and would continue this activity.
“For instance, in the conditions of the so-called program budget we should think about adoption of criteria and indicators of efficiency for each state program,” he said. “Therefore, the Audit Chamber will receive a fair system of financial control parameters and our voters - trustworthy information how the government allocates the budget funds,” Naryshkin added.
