Putin to meet human rights activists to discuss routine rights activities

Representatives of more than 20 public organisations and NGOs, and human rights ombudsmen from all federal districts of Russia will take part in the meeting

MOSCOW, December 09, 23:55 /ITAR-TASS/. President Vladimir Putin will meet with human rights activists on Tuesday, December 10.

The discussion will focus on daily human rights activities in Russia. Representatives of more than 20 public organisations and NGOs, and human rights ombudsmen from all federal districts of Russia will take part in the meeting.

The meeting will be held on Human Rights Day celebrated annually across the world on December 10 and the 65th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
