MOSCOW, December 09. /ITAR-TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he was hopeful to discuss with Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman key regional and international issues.
“I’m very glad to welcome the Israeli vice-premier and foreign minister who has arrived in Moscow to take part in the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation,” Lavrov said.
“We used an opportunity to discuss regional and international issues,” the Russian minister added.
Lieberman said he was pleased to arrive in Moscow, particularly in the winter. “I’m hoping that we’ll seriously discuss regional problems. There are enough problems. Thus, the breakfast will be intensive,” the Israeli minister said.
Then the meeting continued behind closed doors.
